The Difference of Two Worlds

Guiding by night,
Drowned out by day.
I am overlooked and ignored,
I am said to be lesser of others.
They never see behind
The craters and dents.
They see only the outside,
Yet the beauty of the core
Stays untouched, neglected.
I can't make them notice
For I am lacking words.

Now I look upon the world
With fiery eyes.
I am dominant, swallowing.
I am feared, yet cherished.
I look down upon many
For I am truly the most radiant.
But underneath, I'm more.
More than just light.
I can't make them notice
For I am lacking words.
